hidden paradise on Crete island
A twenty minute drive away from the Chania airport, hides this piece of paradise.
Secluded and away from the crowds, Seitan limani beach on Crete Island was my favorite place in Greece. (I stumbled upon a picture of this place on Instagram, because trip advisor is so 2012.) The pictures don't do this place justice, as the water was a shade of turquoise so vivid that my iPhone could not handle it. It was such a beautiful day enjoying the beach, alongside chillaxin' Europeans and goats trotting up and down the cliffs. Those goats have mad skills. Cirque du Soleil should recruit them.
Also, we got a ride back to the city centre by very friendly Russians who saw how lost we were trying to get an Uber in the middle of nowhere. The conversation naturally was about world politics. You really do learn something new every single day.
