HEY DAHYE X FESTIVAL DE LA MODE ET DESIGN '15

HEY DAHYE X FESTIVAL DE LA MODE ET DESIGN '15

So I realized that a few weeks ago, my blog turned four years old!!! Which is like what... middle-aged in the blog world, no? I'm always so happy that I started blogging, and that I kept up with it. The most amazing opportunities come to me through it, and the best part about it is being able to meet all sorts of cool people.

This summer, I was given a chance to take the stage. For what, you ask?

Every year, a huge fashion festival is organized in Montreal that is open to the public. It's called "Festival de la Mode et Design." When they contacted me, asking if I wanted to be a part of it, I was like.... hmm let me think about it, okay i'm done thinking, sign me up!

Basically they were willing to give me the stage for 30 minutes to organize my own event. I thought it would be great to gather my friends and plan a fashion show! Again, thanks to the people I met through my blog, I reached out to two Montreal designers: Masabni and V-Franz. The two collections are so different, yet compliment each other perfectly.

Masabni is a line for the ultimate modern woman, with style that does not compromise comfort. The collection by V-Franz borrows from high-end couture inspirations and mixes it into wearable streetstyle. They are both so talented, and gracious people for helping me with my show.

And of course, a fashion show would not be possible without some sexy models. I had no problem with this recruit, since all of my friends are simply beautiful. During the fittings, I was getting so excited seeing the clothes on them and how soon the show really is!

If you are in Montreal on August 19th, come join us for some fun and fashion! The show is at 7 PM of the stage M.A.D. at the Quartier des Spectacles. (right at Place des Arts metro station) Link to the facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/1679427455605177/

I hope to see you all there!!!
