WHITE SHIRT DRESS + RIPPED JEANS
Instead of lulling summer away, I did an entire overhaul of my resume and linked in page in order to gain work experience. I tend to over worry about my future, probably because I read too many articles about post-graduation job search horror stories. It's like a conscious over-worrying habit that I have, because I know that realistically, I'm going to be able to find a job after graduation. But at the same time, I'm glad I have this fear of "failing" that keeps me anxious when I spend my day doing nothing. Basically, I over-worry now in order to avoid real worries in the future.
Slowly, I see where my career is headed. I am starting an internship this week, and will be assisting photo shoots here and there. Even though these gigs are not directly related to what I'm studying, I know that I want to work in the fashion industry, so any real experience I can get is beneficial. Well, at least I hope so.
Another random goal I set for this summer is to read more. I just started "Norwegian Wood" by Murakami. A friend recommended this one to me last year, and now I actually have time to read for pleasure: a foreign concept.
